Remember when Mardi Gras Day meant staking out a spot on the neutral ground of St. Bernard Highway? The week was filled with night parades, marching bands, and the sound of doubloons hitting the pavement. And who could forget the children’s parades—Sprites, Pan, Oz—where every child felt like royalty?
Let’s take a mystic roll down memory lane and relive the Mardi Gras magic of old Arabi, where the good times always rolled!
